Liberty Av Solutions Expands National Sales Team

Kathryn Williams set to helm Southeastern territory

COLORADO SPRINGS, CO, January 29, 2013—Liberty AV Solutions has named Kathryn Williams as its new Strategic Account Manager for the Southeastern region. Williams (who people in most circles call Kitty) comes to the post with over 20 years of  sales, business development, and consulting experience within the Pro AV industry. Known for her skills as a communicator and negotiator, she has forged a reputation expanding revenue, forming and leveraging strategic alliances, and bringing quality account and territory management to companies including AMX, Smart Technologies, Intellisys Group, and BARCO, Inc.

“Adding Kitty’s presence represents an important step in our expansion and commitment to our integrators in the southeast,” Liberty VP of Business Development and Consultant Relations James Blumhardt said upon making the announcement official. “As we solidify our position as a major supplier of AV infrastructure and digital connectivity products and services on a number of levels, her professionalism will support sustainable growth of our product lines across the board.”

Prior to accepting Liberty’s offer to manage its Southeastern regional sales efforts, Williams oversaw regional sales in Georgia and South Carolina for AMX Corporation, a post she held from 2005 until January 2013. While with AMX, she increased sales in her territory 50% over a one-year period, and was awarded the company’s Performance Recognition Award for Best in Sales, a number of Excellence in Sales Awards, and was a member of the 100% Club.

Williams is a graduate of Ball State University in Muncie, Indiana, and a member of Women in Technology International. She will orchestrate all operations on behalf of Liberty from her office in Woodstock, Georgia.
