Product Info
USB-C to HDMI Extender for Displaying Video in Boardrooms and Conference Rooms This complete transmitter and receiver system is recommended for video presentations in conference rooms, schools, trade shows, meeting facilities, houses of worship, retail settings and digital signage applications where the source and display are farther apart than conventional A/V cables allow. The U444-CAT-H extends 1080p video and stereo audio signals from a USB-C source device to an HDMI display up to 150 feet (45.7 meters) away via user-supplied Cat6 cabling. Built-In PoC Technology Provides Receiver Power to Avoid Bulky External Power Bricks Built-in Power over Cable (PoC) technology powers the low-profile receiver over Cat6 cable. Green and orange LEDs on both the transmitter and receiver will light up to indicate the system is receiving power and a signal is being transmitted. Keep Your Source Device Constantly Charged to Avoid Unintentional Signal Loss The transmitter’s USB-C port charges your laptop, tablet or other source device to avoid battery drain and untimely shutdowns. Just connect the source’s included power supply or power adapter between the USB-C port and an available AC outlet to prevent the source from running out of juice prematurely. Fine-Tune the High-Resolution Image to Meet Your Personal Standards Use the included screwdriver to adjust the equalization control on the receiver. You can choose from eight different settings to make sure the most effective 1080p image is displayed. Plug-and-Play Operation for Quick Setup and Immediate Use The included transmitter and receiver units work right out of the box with no software or external power supply required. Connect the receiver to the HDMI display and the transmitter to the USB-C source with the units’ built-in cables. Then, connect the two units using Cat6 patch cable, such as Tripp Lite N202-Series cable (sold separately). Connect an optional display to the transmitter’s local HDMI output to monitor the image connected to the receiver up to 150 feet away.
